FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions)
I live outside the greater
Boston area. Can we work long distance?
Absolutely. Many of my clients live outside of the greater Boston area and
we work very effectively by phone, e-mail and fax. Providing coaching and
resume writing services to clients via phone and e-mail is convenient and
easy. Meetings are scheduled during the day at your convenience. If I am
developing a resume or cover letter for you, I will forward you drafts
either by fax or e-mail for your review and feedback.
What types of professionals do you work with?
I love working with anyone who is committed to creating success in their
lives and who recognizes that working with the right professional will
offer them a true competitive advantage. Because my experience includes
work in the high tech, manufacturing, education, and healthcare
industries, I am very comfortable working with a range of client
backgrounds, including recent graduates, administrative professionals,
technical professionals, and executives. I have successfully coached
clients in many fields, including IT, healthcare, education,
manufacturing, nonprofit, sales, marketing, law, retail, engineering,
international business, finance, and the public sector.
How long will it take to develop my resume?
My work is of the highest quality and quality does take time. It generally
takes 5-7 business days from the time we have our telephone consultation
until I have a first draft ready for you to review. At that point we will
schedule a follow-up session to discuss your feedback and any edits. From
there, a final document generally takes 2-3 days to complete. Rush service
is available – call me at 617-968-7747 for more details.
What can a Career Coach do for me?
Working with a career coach will give you the benefit of fresh, objective,
and practical feedback and encouragement from an expert. Through our work
together, I can help you identify career options that will truly speak to
your skills, values, passions and lifestyle preferences. Attempting to do
this work by yourself can be time consuming, overwhelming, and often
frustrating. But with a coach by your side encouraging and motivating you,
you will identify potential career options you would excel at and enjoy
and then develop strategies to convert those possibilities into practical
and realistic opportunities.
What other types of coaching services do you offer?
Besides being a Career and Job Search Coach, I am also a Personal and
Professional Success Coach. As a success coach I work with super motivated
professionals, business owners and entrepreneurs who want to make
something extraordinary happen - - in their lives, their careers or their
businesses -- and want to work with a coach and partner to help get them
laser focused on their goals and then quickly build momentum so they
achieve those goals. Many successful executives, athletes, performers,
politicians, etc., utilize coaches to maximize their individual
performance. If you or a colleague think you would benefit from such a
coaching relationship, I invite you to contact me for a free coaching
consultation.
